Artist Talk by Dawoud Bey

I though some of you might be interested in this (particularly Brandon). Dowoud Bey will be giving a short talk on Friday at the Art Institute (free with admission).

In conjunction with Photography Is ______________ , Dawoud Bey talks about his work A Man in a Bowler Hat (1976), the first in the Harlem, U.S.A. series.

Pop-up talks, like this one, are offered on select Fridays throughout the season. A roster of speakers bring their own varied backgrounds and knowledge to bear on a single chosen work from this anniversary display. Each speaker will spotlight a work in a talk lasting 20 to 30 minutes, followed by your questions.
