Paul D' Mato

 What intrigued me most about D'mato's work was his experiences and lifelong connections he developed from the simple question, may I photograph you? His work is like a performance piece between him as the photographer, his subjects and his audience. We must know beforehand when viewing his work, the subjects in his photographs are totally different from what they seem to be.
