Yinka Shonibare is a British-Nigerian artist. His work explores cultural identity, colonialism and post-colonialism. His use of brightly colored fabrics bring his historical like paintings photos to life. I enjoy that even though you would not normally see a Nigerian man in any of this old time painting photos he places himself in as a major role into the composition. I love his version of Goya's print. His work is playful and interesting
