Ryan McGinley (1977 - , USA) is a New York City-based photographer, he began to make a mark as one of the youngest artists to have a solo show at the Whitney Museum of American Art in 2003 at his age of 25.
He is a daring photographer of shame-free nudity, known for pictures of his nubile young friends, male and female, cavorting unclothed outdoors.

Animals are also his main interest. Despite the presence of McGinley’s trademark nude models, focuses primarily on the animals themselves by using the bodies as a sort of living, breathing canvas.

I watched his exhibition when I was in Seoul, I realized that the color of his works is very special. This is one of my favorite photo which was taken by him, I've felt like it's between watercolor paint and photograph.
He has enthusiasm about music and short film. He directed Varúð's music video sung by experimental-Icelandic band Sigur Rós in 2012.
