Brendan Fowler is a California based artist born in 1978. Fowler was a musician for several years before he decided to start working in the visual arts in 2008. His signature work is combining framed pictures, "crashing" them together. He mixes photography, sculpture, and performance. His three-dimensional pictures combine snapshots of his friends, flower arrangements, his studio, mirrors, and screens in restructured narratives. I enjoy Fowler's redefinition of photography, and how he combines sculpture with photography.
