Bruce Davidson

Bruce Davidson is a photographer and photojournalist from Chicago, Illinois. Born in Oak Park, he started doing photography at the young age of 10 years old. His time in the army led him to meet Henri Cartier-Bresson whom was the co-founder of Magnum Photos which later Davidson was a member of. Famous for his numerous awards and published work, from his collective portfolio I was most attentive to his Brooklyn Gang series in New York and his work and drive to document the Civil Rights movement from both sides, north and south.
